“Our resins are developed to extremely precise specifications. The term “marble resins” refers to polymer products (natural, artificial or synthetic) as base materials. Resins are generally used to manufacture plastics, textiles, paints, adhesives, varnishes, etc. There are two main types of resin: thermoplastics and thermosets. Marble resins are used because they are added to marble gravel, more commonly known as “aggregate”. They can also be used as a bonding, protective or even waterproofing layer, depending on requirements.
Bonding resins
A primer is a chemical (resin) that is applied to a surface prior to the installation of a coating to improve adhesion. Primers are used on a variety of surfaces, including concrete, wood, metal and plaster. Primers are often used before applying paint, wallpaper, tiles and floor coverings to ensure that the surface stays in place and does not crack over time. Primers can also help prevent water damage. Ultimately, the use of a primer can help extend the life of a coating and reduce long-term maintenance costs.
RESIPRIMER is the ideal primer for all resin-based floor coverings. There is a primer for every specific substrate. We do not sell a universal primer! !
It is recommended for all problems of slight surface dampness or to repel rising damp (max 4%). What’s more, it’s easy to apply. It can be applied with a brush, roller or spray gun. It must be applied taking a few precautions regarding ventilation of the premises where it’s applied. We offer several types of primer :

Protective resin
Stable and transparent, protective resins offer high mechanical performance. Protective resins are aliphatic polyurethane resins with excellent resistance to UV rays. They are solid, flexible flooring products that resist abrasion and wear. They are resistant to chemicals. Protective resins play well with dilute solutions of acids and bases, chlorinated water, salt, fuel and lubricants. They provide excellent surface protection for marble aggregate subjected to intense wear. These protective resins do not bleach with the weather, nor do they change colour over time. They are therefore ideal for outdoor applications.
This resin is not compulsory, but it does provide long-lasting protection for RESIMARMO.
